Appealing to lovers of rough luxe styling and interiors, this Log Mosaic combines the raw material of wood with luxurious gilded highlights. Our log tiles are blackened (or charred) to enhance the wood grains; King Midas then selects several tiles to be graced with his touch. The opulent Gold Leaf is applied by hand, adding a subtle warmth and rich metallic glow to the art panel.*

The Log Tiles are arranged and bonded to an FSC Certified 9mm hardwood ply backing board, painted in LAMP BLACK. The Mosaics can be hung either Portrait (50cm x 60cm) or Landscape (60cm x 50cm) orientation.

Each Mosaic is made by hand to order in our workshops here in the UK; no two will be the same.

*Please note:
The Gold Leaf is applied to the end grains of the log tiles. This can affect the overall appearance of the completed gilding due to the growth rings - sometimes it may appear 'distressed' or 'aged', sometimes the Leaf may be more solid (flat).
