A completely unique wooden sculpture, this Cattle Skull is hand-gilded using copper leaf. Copper Leaf finish is new for 2019 - it's rich and lustrous, with beautiful red undertones and a luxurious, high shine. 

'Copper Accents Cow's Head' Skull has been hand-carved from locally sourced softwood, painted in Lamp Black (a soft, near-black) and then gently sanded, which results in a charcoal shade. Copper leaf has been applied over the painted surface then lightly distressed, to reveal the deep grey colour beneath. This is a fabulous combination that looks quite intriguing - and even mysterious - when hung on a dark wall, and very striking if displayed upon a contrasting light (or white) background. This Skull is perfect for filling a small wall space in a gently lit corner of a room, or as a focal point above a fireplace where it can be highlighted by a centrally hanging light or daylight to enhance its copper glow.

Slightly smaller than our usual Cattle Skulls, this one measures 33cm wide x 21cm high. There is a keyhole bracket on the reverse, suitable for wall hanging. It is ready for immediate dispatch.
